Thirty hardy souls braved the Welsh weather to spend a week under canvas at Tywyn in North Wales. Despite mixed weather we had a great time. The kids loved the freedom and space, and the adults enjoyed spending time together. Day trips, camp fires, the beach, the waterfalls and lakes, and the steam train were unforgettable.

Emily says: During a particularly dangerous night in the Philippines, I sang myself to sleep with this song. (Dwell by Aaron Keys)

The complete peace I experienced as Jesus reigned in my heart was worth more to me than 1000 beach holidays (which was amazing I might add!). Let knowing that Jesus is in control and knows when our last day will be free us to do what He wants us to do, wherever that might be. Mission update 3

Having a great time on mission in the Philippines. Pastor’s conference went really well, and outreach was amazing! Today it’s open air baptisms, with about two hours to now prepare a message! Looking forward now to flying home in a couple of days, and leaving the Mosquitos behind!

Mission update 2

Hi all,

Just to let you know we had another really great evening. It was so encouraging! Where else can you invite 40 strangers to hear the gospel, all 40 of them turn up with their children, God shows up powerfully, two people immediately commit their lives to Christ and all of them say they will be in Church on Sunday?! We could have a real space problem on Sunday!

I’m very proud of the other team members (Johnny, Kat, Bas, Emily and Joel) who have been sharing the gospel and even standing in last minute to sing! They have . . . → Read More: Mission update 2

Mission update

Hi folks,

Our first evangelistic evening went really well last night. Pic attached of Emily and Joel serving food, we then preached the gospel and The Lord was tangibly present. Hopefully we will see some of them on Sunday.

We have been to the city handing out tracts and talking with people. Tonight we have another evangelism evening with the people we met and invited yesterday. Please keep praying, space is an issue and there is an awful lot of cooking to do in a short period of time!

News from the Philippines mission

Hi all,

We had a great day at church yesterday. A small church plant in Kat’s parents house with a big heart for God. It was so encouraging!

Today we purchased the music equipment for the church, did the printing and arranged the conference venue, along with purchasing and packing the goods that we are giving out in the community (pic attached).

The local police are apparently concerned about Muslim attacks on us and are patrolling our house. God is so good, protecting us every step of the way! Even Kats uncle who is a pastor was stopped and questioned . . . → Read More: News from the Philippines mission
